The PhD Program in Mathematical Sciences, a program of the PhD School of the University of Padova, is based at the Department of Mathematics Tullio Levi-Civita and offers two doctoral degrees, one in Mathematics and one in Computational Mathematics. The PhD Program offers a high qualification training and research opportunity in all the research areas represented in the Department, that include Algebra, Geometry, Mathematical Analysis, Mathematical Logic, and Mathematical Physics for the Mathematics area, and Mathematical Finance, Numerical Analysis, Optimization, and Probability, for the Computational Mathematics area.
