Computational Mathematics

The Degree in Computational Mathematics is offered by the Doctoral School in Mathematical Sciences at the University of Padova.

The doctoral program has a duration of 3 years, and is subdivided into the following curricula:

  • Probability and Statistics;
  • Numerical Analysis;
  • Operations Research;
  • Mathematical Methods for Economics and the Actuarial and Financial Sciences.

The number of students admitted to the "Computational Mathematics" area may vary from year to year (about 3-4 new students per year with fellowships from the University of Padova). It is also possible that in some years there are some fellowships supported by other sponsors.
